We Dance at the Grove

5Rhythms in person

Our bodies are full of the wisdom and creativity needed to move through these changing and often challenging times. This class is a space to discover, stretch, release, energise, shake off, lighten and land inside your body.

Wednesday evenings 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm 

Simply Being - 5Rhythms

In person
An opportunity to drop into the body and open up to spirit; a communal space to move and heal together. All in our warm, electric-angelic healing space immersed under our surround sound soul system on a professional sprung floor. Gently guided by experienced facilitator Rich Wiltshire. Near Waterloo.

Friday evening - 6.30 pm - 8.45 pm

Women’s 5Rhythms Full Moon Dance

In person
These dances are an invitation for all women to come together to dance the 5Rhythms and experience this in relation to the full moon. We honour the cycles of the moon by gathering In Person to connect to ourselves and each other; body, heart and mind. Dancing through the changing times, supported by the togetherness of women, we can let go and align ourselves with soul, love and our higher purpose.

Breakfast Waves 5Rhythms

Online
Morning Movement Meditation. A space to invite the new day into the body as we move through the 5Rhythms wave. This sets us up for the day ahead as dancers ~ awake, grounded and connected.

The Rhythms Club for over 60’s - 5 Rhythms

Online Monthly
We are a very welcoming core group of mainly over 60's but any one of any age is welcome to join us. Usually we have people of all ages from all walks of life drop in for an afternoon 5Rhythms session - some come occasionally & some are committed to regular practice. After dancing together weekly since the beginning of the pandemic up to the end of 2023 - we have now changed our rhythm to meet once monthly 

Tuesday afternoon 2.30 pm - 3.45 pm

Relax & Restore - Yin & Restorative Yoga

Online
An evening yoga class, held online from the cosy comfort of your home. The sessions are designed to release mental and physical tension, soothe the nervous system and restore energy. We do this with nourishing yin yoga postures, gentle breathing exercises, somatic awareness and mindfulness. 

Thursday evenings - 7 pm - 8.15 pm

 

Life - Sensing

Online
Art, Movement & the Imaginal. With each new series there is a new insight of direction and expansion, offering an immersive exploration into creativity and a profound connection to ourselves. Opening awareness through  movement /somatic enquiry. Combining inner visioning, intuitive touch, and art making practices.These series run between  6 - 8 weeks. We journey as a core weekly group for the whole series (recordings are available for missed sessions). All are welcome.

Friday mornings 8.30 am - 10 am

Simply Being: the garden sessions 

In person
5Rhythms in a private, community garden space. An invitation to move and heal with nature and each other.

Gong Bath with colour essences

The art of not acting-being
This is a space to connect with deep stillness and inner self. Let the sound guide you and lull you into a deep relaxation where healing, insights and intuition emerge. Unwind, rebalance and realign your energy field with breath, vibrational medicine of plants, colour and multi-layered healing sound of the Gongs and other instruments. 

These sessions will return in autumn 2024

Mindfulness

Online
A mindfulness class suitable for both complete beginners and those with some experience. We explore the fundamentals of meditation practice, cultivating awareness of breath, body, thoughts and emotions with kindness and self-compassion.

A Deeper Acceptance

Closed group workshop
A 5Rhythms Movement Meditation for those who move with pain or illness. Bringing a deeper awareness to our bodies and alchemising challenges into new creative ways of being and healing. We will also search out new ways to move our bodies without expectation or comparison of moving like 'regular' dancers.

We Dance on the Common

In person
5Rhythms on Clapham Common. Dancing outdoors with the sensations of the earth below you and the sky above can support you to dance in a way that you never have before.

RIDING THE WAVES ~ a 5Rhythms Workshop

In person
This workshop will be a unique opportunity to dance multiple waves, peeling back layers, dropping masks. Trusting in the waves. To find your dance is to find yourself, at your most fluid and creative level.
